InAir ADSS FiberGlass DJ is a great and cost-effective fiberglass double jacket cable for short and medium spans up to 984 ft making it applicable for city trunk lines. It’s less expensive than cables with aramid yarns and provides a degree of rodent resistance due to fiberglass yarns. With a track-resistance jacket, it can be used in electric fields up to 25 kV without causing surface discharges. Its maximum rated design tension can be up to 3,372 lb. It also has a wide range of operating temperatures from -76°F to +158°F and installation temperatures from -22°F to +158°F.

Visit our Configurator ACES: Advanced Cable Engineering System, a unique software tool to help engineers select the optimal ADSS design along with the associated accessories, including dead ends, suspensions, down leads, splice enclosures, and dampers. Use ACES SPOT for calculation of space potential around overhead transmission lines with ADSS cables and for choosing the optimal ADSS cable attachment point on the tower. Go for ACES CATS for simple calculations of tension and sags.
