InAir Figure 8 FRP is a multi-tube aerial cable with a fiberglass rod as an external strength member. It is an affordable alternative to InAir ADSS cables with low installation cost. This design is all-dielectric and UV-resistant. It has a wide range of operating temperatures from -58°F to +158°F and installation temperatures from -22°F to +122°F.

InAir Figure 8 FRP features multi-purpose outdoor installation. The typical type of installation is aerial fiber optic cable installation between poles and buildings, though it can also be pulled into underground ducts and sewer pipes and installed into indoor/outdoor cable conduits and trays.

This cable consists of a stranded core with central strength member (FRP) and loose tubes with optical fibers (up to 144). The stranded core is fixed by water-swellable yarns. A fiberglass rod is used as a suspension element.
