InHome Distribution TB is a tight-buffered break-out cable for inside buildings and in equipment trays. Versatile indoor-outdoor application makes this cable a perfect solution for offices and data centers while building broadband networks. It is flexible enough and can be easily terminated.
This design is all-dielectric, UV-resistant and flame-retardant. In case of applying fiberglass yarns, it can have moderate rodent resistance.
InHome Distribution TB typically consists of a bundle of tight-buffered fibers. Fiberglass or aramid yarns are laid over the bundle of fibers. Outer jacket is made of halogen-free flame-retardant material.
This tight-buffer cable can have up to 48 fibers though different combinations of fiber counts and loose tubes in a cable are available on request.
InHome Distribution TB’s maximum operation tension can reach up to 180 lb (0.8 kN) and maximum installation tension — up to 360 lb (1.6 kN). Its resistance to crushing load can be up to 114 lb/in (0.2 kN/cm). It has a wide range of operating and installation temperatures from +14°F to +122°F (operating temperature range can be increased on request).
